I went to the grocery store after work today, June 18, 2009, and was repulsed to see that the Safeway on Harpers Farm road has signs up in support of Gay/Lesian pride month.
The signs meet you at both entrances of the grocery store. When I saw it, I turned around, put the cart back and started to walk to back to my car in disgust. Then, I decided to let them know that they had lost a customer. I spoke to the manager and told her that she lost a customer today because of the signs supporting gay pride. She informed me that it was beyond her control but that I could call 1-877-SAFEWAY and register a complaint if I wanted to.
Well, I certainly did. I called and registered a complaint. I encourage all of you to do the same. This is ridiculous. So when I take my daughter to the grocery store, she should see signs about gay pride? I don't think so. The grocery store? This is ridiculous. REGISTER YOUR COMPLAINT TODAY! Announce it in your church. Do whatever you can. I'm begging you. We need to let our voices be heard.
