Throughout the day, we are bombarded with questions, information, problems, dilemmas, and choices. So much so that by the time we get home from work, are brains are exhausted and we are hard pressed to do anything but pick up the remote control and flip the channels. The pressures of every day life have a way of choking and smothering our true life passions. Yet, the scripture admonishes us that we are in this world but we are not of this world. So, how is it that we prevent the forces of everyday life from treading our passion and purpose underfoot?
In all of day-to-day activities we are commanded to seek first the kingdom of God. So the question is, how do we do it? How do we pursue purpose in the face of day-to-day purpose-choking activities?
