You've made it to the end--now push!

You made it! You’ve come to the end of the year. As I am writing this post, there remain only a few days in the year 2014. Instead of giving up because the answers to some of your 2014 prayers have not yet manifested, believe God that there are still breakthroughs for you before the year comes to a close. You’ve endured this long, so why don’t you push? A woman carries a child for 37-40 weeks. She endures the changes in her body: the weight gain, cravings, swelling, internal shifting of her stomach and pressure on her bladder. Yet, even after all of that, she must still push. You’ve carried a promise all year long—you’ve made it to the end. So why don’t you push?

“Last days“ of a year or any season of time are times of transition and require that you and I be sensitive to the leading of the Spirit of God. Jesus told His disciples that in the last days the love of many would wax cold; but, He went on to say something else that was full of prophetic insight and wisdom. In Matthew 24:13, He goes on to say, “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”http://blogs.christianpost.com/Admin/tiny_mce2/plugins/pagebreak/img/trans.gif
There is something about the end of a season or the last days of a season that you and I can learn from Jesus’ words. While others are waxing cold at the end of a season, you must still be enduring, still maintaining your fire and not only that but also looking in expectation for Jesus to come into your transition. You must expect that if you keep pushing between now and the end of the year, that Jesus will save your 2014.
There is still redemption ahead, so don’t get out of position. Stay in the posture and position of prayer. If you position yourself in the rain, you will get wet. If you position yourself in dry places you will stay dry. Stay in the position and posture of prayer between now and the end of the year—push!
I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. – Ecclesiastes 9:11 (KJV)
Your chance will come before the end of the year so, stay in position!
