Are you ready to reset?

In the earliest stages of grade school, our math instructors taught us to count by 10—“10, 20, 30, 40….” It [10] is the number at which we reset our thinking: from nine we go to 10 from 19 we go to 20, etc., and we start a new round of counting. Ten is also the number at which other numbers are morphed from decimals to whole numbers; for example, 0.999 rounds to 1.000, and 9.999 rounds to 10.

As we enter the initial stages of the year 2010, I believe God is making things whole in your life and in mine. Yet, perhaps the fullness of His wholeness will require us to reset our thinking: to start over in some areas but this time, with a new approach and outlook?

It has been said “in order to get different results, you have to do something differently.” According to Romans 12:2, both being and acting differently, transformation, are a result of thinking differently.

Wholeness is one paradigm shift away from you.

What mindsets do you need to reset this year? In what areas do you need the Lord’s wholeness?

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” – Romans 12:2 (KJV)
